“Bula do Sol” presented to 6,500 children during “Summer with Prevention”

Around 6,500 children from the Central region were covered by the activities promoted within the scope of the “Summer with Prevention” campaign, by the Central Regional Nucleus of the Portuguese League Against Cancer (LPCC). From July 16 to August 7, the campaign to promote healthy sun exposure and early diagnosis of skin cancer once again put this issue at the center of attention in several municipalities: Marinha Grande, Alcobaça, Pombal, Coimbra, Figueira da Foz, Ílhavo, Castanheira de Pera, Penacova, Lousã and Ourém.
The 10-day roadshow was a veritable "traveling exhibition" about the "Sun Leaflet," the new information resource launched this summer by the LPCC. Inspired by the concept of a medical leaflet that comes with medications, this campaign invites Portuguese people to treat the sun with the care it requires.
